There are three package options available for each team or individual. Please review the following:

School Package »

  • Lodging for 10 nights in the USA Delegation School (School to be determined at a later date by the 2007 World Gymnaestrada local Organizing Committee, we will advise).

Airports:

Munich, Germany (approx 105 miles)
Zurich, Switzerland (approx 60 miles)

  • In the past we included air cost in with the package. This was very difficult to plan since many of you have miles and so forth that you would like to be able to take advantage of. We understand that in order for many of you to bring your families this needs to be as cost effective as possible. So now, we would like to give you the opportunity to do just that.
  • Individuals and Groups are more than welcome to make your own arrangements for air travel to get you to and from Austria, however National Travel Systems would be more than happy to help you make these arrangements if you need to do so. We will not be charging any extra fees for this service. You will just need to contact National Travel Systems and we can give you a quote. Unfortunately rates with the airlines are not loaded this far in advance, so the soonest that we can give you a definite price would be 11 months prior to the date of travel (so around August 2006).
  • If you choose to book your own air, you need to be sure to have the appropriate travel dates. You will need to depart from the USA on July 04, 2007 to arrive Switzerland or Germany on July 05, 2007. You will need to depart on July 15, 2007 from one of the two above airports, if we are providing your transportation (again please see Airport Transportation).
  • If you plan on coming prior to World Gymnaestrada or staying over after World Gymnaestrada that will be on your own outside of the package.
  • Any Air purchased is a separate price from the package. Deposits and payments will be discussed separately with each Group or Individual traveling.

Airport Transportation »

There will be two airports that National Travel Systems will make arrangements to pick you up/drop you off.

Airports:

Munich, Germany (approx 105 miles)
Zurich, Switzerland (approx 60 miles)

  • You must be arriving to one of these two airports on July 05, 2007 in order to participant in the airport transportation (to take you to the Official Housing of USA Gymnastics). On the departures, we will provide transportation to the airport (from one of the Official Housing Sites of USA Gymnastics) on July 15, 2007.
  • If you purchase airlines tickets with National Travel Systems and will not be arriving or departing on the designated airport transfer days (Arrival of July 05, 2007 and Departure of July 15, 2007) then you will be responsible to get yourself back to one of these two airports on the designated dates so that we can make your travel arrangements to Dornbirn, Austria.
  • If you purchase your air on your own or use miles you will have the opportunity to purchase airport transportation for minimal fee of $20.00 per person (round trip). Your dates of arrival and departure must be the same (Arrival – July 05, 2007 and Departure – July 15, 2007).

Insurance »

We strongly recommend that everyone purchase some sort of Travel Insurance for the package that you are purchasing, although you are not required. National Travel Systems recommends Travel Guard International. You may review their policies online at www.travelguard.com or by calling 1-877-248-8992 (please read thoroughly through to make sure you understand all the travel insurance proceedings). At the time of deposit we will require EACH PERSON to sign either an agreement to purchase travel insurance or a refusal of travel insurance. That way we are aware of your intentions. You will have 15 days from the time you make your initial deposit (trip payment) to purchase trip insurance. After this date most travel insurance companies will not allow you to purchase.

Payment Dates »

July 03, 2006 - $500.00 deposit due per person
December 01, 2006 – ½ of package selected due per person (less the deposit)
April 02, 2007 – Remaining Balance

Cancellations

Deposit - The $500 pp deposit will be refundable up until the 1st payment is due (December 01, 2006). After this date the deposit of $500 will be non refundable.

1st Package Payment – 50% of this payment (not of the entire package) will be refundable up until 2nd payment is due (April 02, 2007). After this date all payments paid are non refundable.

2nd Package Payment (Final) – 50% of this payment (not of the entire package) will be refundable up until May 01st. After this date all payments paid are non refundable.
